Gale Soveriegn 60???

I believe I posted last fall but can't find it, or I don't know how...

I am looking for a water Pump repair kit and other motor parts availability. The motor is a 60DE-10. I'm told it was a Johnson based motor?

Where might I get parts for an oldie such as this? I have the manufacturers books for this motor with parts and service diagrams and all.

it shares most of it's parts with the Johnson, Evinrude. we had a 1960 60 hp Gale Soveriegn, on our first real boat. most parts can be had here

Lower unit and water pump are same as a 1960 75hp Evinrude or Johnson

TD & FR,

You guys post alot on here and I recall now getting that information last fall. I have learned alot just by reading posts here... I really enjoy the "stupin human tricks..." forum when I need an uplift. Heck this will be my inaugural season mabye I'll have my own stories

I'll record your info on the front page of my manual as soon as I finish posting. I'll post back here in a new thread my results with your assistance.
