I guess I will have to do the review. G sight is a target training system for handguns. You put a cartridge in your handgun, the hammer hits a stop and it shoots a laser to the target. You can buy just a simple target with a remote or a system that links to your phone with all kinds of targets and games. You can practice shooting and drawing without shooting bullets.

Sounds like a nice system and would help some, but without the recoil and bang, might not help as much as you would think ...

I think it’s a pretty good system for new and inexperienced shooters to get use to handling, shooting and aiming and to learn some basics. For experienced shooters go to the range.
Im currently training a young woman in gun self defense and preparing her to get her ccw who is being stalked by a psycho. (It’s a long story). She practiced with this system and learned a lot. When I took her to the range everything changed. Now she had to deal with recoil, muzzle rise, anticipation, grip, stance etc. Started with 9mm but she’s petite and she may do better with a 380.

I do not have access to a range close by, over an hour drive. I will be a fun thing to practice with.
In your case it sounds like a good alternative. Anyone who keeps a gun for self defense, home defense should practice and if you can’t go to the range your method sounds like the best alternative.
