G.p.S. caching

Has anyone ever been It's fun<br />we went this weekend and went hiking following the G.P.S. unit and found two. One of which we were the first to find it sence it was placed back in May 2005. The ideal is you look up all theses caches on the E net and use your G.P.S. unit Find the cache and take out whats in it and put something of yours back in its place.<br />there are over 245 in our area alone.<br />It was 35* and snowing but what a beautifull sight to see the mountians in the back ground.<br />I needed this after the death of My best friend two weeks ago. I feel like I got a little life back in me One of the web sites is geocaching.com<br />Serenity

My wife and I have tried it and found a couple in our area (without a GPS) The topic has been on iboats before but I couldn't find it with the search button.

I have the caches emailed to me every week, from geocaching. It's a fun game with the kids.<br />It is also fun when we go boating. We make our own caches and make a day of it.

Me and my neighbor (I don't have gps) have been geocaching for a little less than a year now.......<br /><br />One of the great things is that it gets us out of the house, but more importantly we go to places we wouldnt normally go to or even know existed.

I still do them every now and again. Never did get to stash one of my own out there yet. Maybe this summer.<br /><br />Good way to get out in the winter and get a little exercise. I have discovered some real nice places through geocaching
