Sorry I just had to post this and some may already know. I had a few greasy foot prints that would not come out in my boat carpet and I happened to look up and see a can of PB Blaster and said why not. So the carpet was already wet and I sprayed some in the stain rubbed it just a little and the stains were completely gone! Man they need to bottle this for the laundry room. If I posted I the wrong place please forgive me.

PB Blaster, is that a cleaner or penetrating oil?
I ask as there are some bad stains in my truck carpeting.

I would think if you used it on carpet you would leave a even bigger stain than you removed?

Another good product for removing greasy messes from carpet is Brake Cleaner High Power Brake Cleaner :3M US be sure to try it in a place no one will see. This is powerful stuff do not breath it. I used it to get some grease out of my bosses boat carpet. It probably saved my job.

I've also used brake cleaner on a clean rag.

Careful, brake cleaner can melt some carpets. Try it where you can't see it first!

I myself like Greased Lightening Super Strength, apply undiluted, soak, gently scrub and extract or wipe clean.

I like the purple "Power" cleaner. It is an excellent degreaser, doesn't stink like PBBlaster, and washes out with water.

I simply use goop hand cleaner or dawn dish soap to remove greasy stains, followed by 409 and the garden hose. then I use laundry deturgent to shampoo the whole carpet.

PB blaster is a penetrating oil.
