Yep, plenty of them floating around. Don't they know what a honest job is?

Received 3 of them in the last three weeks.

I dunno who's worse... the scumbags that do these things or the people that blindly respond.

I recieved one this morning from my Chase account. Funny thing is I don't have one.

Seems some people must fall for this or they wouldn't keep fishing.

Re: FYI-Another Paypal Phishing Scam

I run two ebay accounts, one for work which contains a store and one as an ebay business that I am involved with. We get on the average of 5 scams per week. I have gotten threatening e-mails stating they have not received the goods and they are calling the autorities unless replacement items are shipped. Funny but we keep great records and they are not even bidders for us.... I respond and ask them for the auction number and never hear back.

I get bogus ebay emails, bogus paypal emails and most recently I got an email from someone who accepted my "second chance offer" on an item. I told them I did not send a second chance offer out!

I consider it all normal in the day to day business. I am a Gold Powerseller, Square Trade Member and listed as a Trading Assistant.

A word to the ebay newbies just be real careful.

Re: FYI-Another Paypal Phishing Scam

I too get the emails that threaten me because they have not received the item. funny thing...I haven't sold anything on ebay for quite some time and the items I did sell had already been received. I get the questions from a bidder....I'm not selling anything so what is there to question. I just delete and don't bother responding to them.
