Wiring solved . Now my next querie ,is there a flow or circulation diagram somewere showing how to convert to FWC and particurlarly showing FWC of the Manifolds as well . I have a 1996 new in crate 5.7 liter Volvo GL but it doesnt have FWC package. The kit costs over $1000CDN. I figure I can use my old Heat exchanger and put on the old thermostat housing. The other question is can you drill and tap the risers and manifolds to put in hose fittings to FWC the manifolds as it seems Volvo made no accomodation for FWC the manifolds. I have mixed reports on this

Re: FWC conversion on Volvo 5.7L GL

Cabazon
I installed my kit right out of the box. The manifolds using the volvo kit are still sacrificed. I have friends with straight inbrds that protect the lower manifold and the raw water is routed only throuh the riser but in every case when you replace the manifold riser you better relace the maniflod also. Three people I know have had hydrolocked motors over trying to replace only the tops. Like everything it's just an opinion.
:) :) :) :) :) :)
Charlie
