Hello All,

New to me 2004 Lund Tiller with 60HP. First post. I'm having a bit of electrical difficulties with my 2004 Lund Explorer. I think I have it narrowed down to the lights within the boat.

I am interested in knowing what the proper fuses are, as I think they're incorrect.

Can anyone provide me with those numbers (Left to Right as facing the panel), or point me in the right direction. Thank you.

it totally depends on what is on the circuit. most boat mfgr's do not publish the wiring diagrams. there are 2 good threads at the top of this forum.

The size of the fuse has nothing to do with the circuit working or not -- unless the fuse is too small and constantly blows. You mentioned a problem with the lights. What's the problem and which lights. And what have you done to try and find the problem. Electrical problems generally boil down to loose/corroded connections, bad switches, burned out bulbs, corroded sockets, or just plain bad wiring. Using a voltmeter, start at the fuse panel and follow the voltage until you lose it. The last item you checked is where the problem is. As for fuse sizes, virtually every circuit can work with a 7.5 amp fuse.

Hello All,

Sorry about the delay in responding. I actually ran into this post searching for boat covers and biminis.

I thought I owed you the courtesy of letting you know that I just went ahead and did some rewiring. The spaghetti factory behind my panel made it difficult to determine what was going on. And, someone made the point that a fire on a boat is a really bad thing, as the only way out is in the water. That comment made me put the money out for fresh wiring. All is well now.

Thanks for your thoughts and help.
