You can't use that valve on your Volvo. The dipstick tube and fitting attach to the bottom of the pan. If you use that valve, you won't be able to use the dipstick.
The way that dipstick tube is setup, you just hook your pump to the top of the dipstick tube and suck out the oil with a pump. Simple and easy.
