Full Size Fishfinder/GPS Combo

I currently fish out of a 2005 Bass Tracker Pro Team 175. The boat came from the factory with a Lowrance X37 TX mounted on the right hand side of the console. I would like to upgrade the unit to a Lowrance HDS-5 or Elite 5 unit. There does not appear to be much space on the console to mount something of this size. Has anyone mounted a unit similiar to my situation? I am looking for ideas on where to put this thing! Thanks in advance.

Not familiar with your boat, but look into using a ram mount.

If you have a in console mount, and there is no room to widen it for a larger unit, block it off.

PS: Working X37?, move it to the bow trolling motor.

Thanks for the info! I knew about Ram mounts but didn't even think about using it! Looks like I will be able to mount one after all.
