Can anyone offer any advice, maybe I am doing somehting wrong as it is my first boat.

When I try and fuel the boat, it seems that it is constantly bubbling out and stopping the flow from the pump. Its as though its trying to get air into the tank and line to replace the space the fuel is taking up as I fill the tank. I literally took almost 15 minutes just to get 12.5 gallons into the tank as I barely squeezed the pump trigger to flow into the spout. Its gonna kill me to replace all 80 gallons when I need to. Is there some sort of petcock or something else I need to open to allow air to escape as the fuel replaces it?

Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks!

Sounds like your vent tube may be clogged.

Or your fill tube has sagged creating a trap effect.Probably a partial blockage of some kind.

could be a blocked vent, has it always done this? Some fill hoses come kinked from the factory and cause this, check the fill hose.
