Hello PWC owners,

Can you guys give me the model/part number of your PWC fuel/water separator? I am looking one for my outboard but they all seem too big. I hope those made for PWC are much smaller.

Thanks

Re: Fuel Water Separator

The water seperators size shouldn't make any difference. It's basically a sediment bowl before the carbs. It doesn't restrict flow enough to bother anything.
There are some real small filters that cost about $100 and do the same. They can be bought at any Napa.
I have a filter with a sight bowl on my boat so I can see the water.Racor about $80. J

Walmart sells a water/fuel seperator for $27, works fine, easy install with 2 screws. I've been just unscrewing my filter cartridge, dumping it, and putting it back on. But I never seem to get much water or trash in my fuel anyway. Use the Stabil all the time. Good Luck!

Re: Fuel Water Separator

Thanks for replying. My boat is an inflatable so i want something really small. The one from Walmart is way too big. I haven't gone to Napa yet, but i will do. Hopefully i will find something like an inline fuel filter. :)

Racor makes a smaller separator filter. A small inline filter won't help with any water issues.

Look for the Racor model 025-RAC-02. I got mine at West Marine for $85 because I needed it right away, but found some on the net for around $67. It is very small and made for suction type fuel systems like an outboard or jet-ski.
