Fuel vent issue

Hey folks
My 2013 Tracker Targa seems to release a lot of pressure when I open the fuel cap. Does this indicate a vent issue? It’s quite the popping sound
Just purchased the boat so not really familiar with it yet but this seems like an issue. I don’t see a vent anywhere on the hull by the way

yes, having a lot of pressure when you release the cap means the vent is plugged

Do you have easy access to the fuel tank? If so, have a look. There should be a vent hose/tube on top of the tank. (Assuming you have an onboard tank.) Follow it to see just where the vent problem is.
