Just a word of caution to all the SeaPro owners out there. This weekend I had a very bad experience that luckily didn't cause me very much grief and only $5.00 to fix. Left the landing heading out into the bay in Mobile. About 300 yards out the engine just died. Long story short - lots of searching and finally I checked the fuel line connection to the tank. Bingo. the damn thing was made of aluminium and had corroded completely in to. This is a 2005 2100 boat. The fitting that the fuel line to the motor connects to had broken off of the tank. This should have never been Aluminium on a boat (Bay boat) that is used in Salt Water. Was able to use the trolling motor to get back to the landing and went to Lowes to get a brass 3/8" fitting. That fit my hose just perfectly. $3.84 for tube of pipe dope and $1.50 for the fitting. Shudder to think what would have happened if I had been 20 miles out in the gulf like I am usually am.

Check your tank fittings!

Whoa,
That could have been bad if you were out of trolling motor range. What if you were down there drifting the Bar for those Redfish? The outgoing tide would have pushed you to Sand Island.

How do you check the connector? Is it under the console? Id like to check mine too. I have a 2004 190 cc.
