This is our first boat and have some rooky questions.
I have a 1985 175 Johnson, 15in dia. 17in.pitch 3-blade SS prop. VRO disconnected by a professional mechanic. Motor is mounted on a 21' ChrisCraft center console. Dry wt. of 3200lbs, 60 gal in floor tank and 18 gal aux. tank.
We are nearly finsihed rerigging this boat and have replaced the electrical system, fuel line and vents, and gauges. We are about to put it into the water and have a few questions.
1) what is the WOT and crusing RPM of this motor. Can't find this info in the Chilton manual.

2) Need a source for a broken plastic T-fittng in the fuel supply system (I broke). The fitting is located under the engine cowl just downstream of the inline fuel filter, but before the carbs. The fitting has two- 5/16 in.dia. barbed connections(going east and west)for the fuel line and then a small (1/8" or 3/32" dia. or so)connection(going north). On one side of the T-fitting is labeled .030. I think this means that there is a .030 opening in the north facing connection to the smaller line.

3)Both tanks have been drained. When refilling, should we add a fuel stabilizer like Stabil?

Thanks for the help
Bob
