Im trying to find out what might be causing my 135hp merc to be running lean.<br /> could it be that the engine is starving it self becouse of too much vacume on the fuel sys? <br /> the only reason I question this is that the filter that I used two years ago a Quick silver,the boat ran fine and now im using a Racor and the part #'s dont cross ref. thinking back it seams that my problems began shortly after the switch.<br /><br />I have gone through the entire fuel sys Plugged vent,pick up tube,new fuel lines,priming bulb.
