Hi All,

i put my 23 foot cruiser powered by an evinrude 200 HP ocean pro into the sea a couple of weeks ago, and she ran like a dream. last week, she started fine, and ran very smoothly, but as soon as i powered up to some 4000 revs, the engine lost all power as if the fuel supply was cut off. I droped down to idling, and she was ok, so after a few seconds, gave it more throttle and she planed nicely for a few seconds until the power went again. I am convinced its a fuel supply problem. At low revs, she is very smooth and runs beautifully, and problems come up when i start consuming higher levels of fuel.

My first reaction is to replace the primer balloon, and then attach a new fuel line to a gerrry can of fuel, to eliminate the fuel tank. Any thoughts?
