How often do you need to add fuel stabilizer? Two stroke? Four stroke?

Re: Fuel stabilizer

Type of engine is isn't critical and fuel can last different amount of times depending on beginning octane, time of the year that the fuel is purchased( refinery's vary their formulas), condensation, etc. You might get better response on this question from posting this question on the non-repair forum.

Re: Fuel stabilizer

If the motor isn't used enuough so that the gas isn't used-up and replaced with fresh within a few months, stabilize it year-round. This is especially true with small outboards and boats used only a few times each year.

Re: Fuel stabilizer

Thanks. Whether a mix or straight gas, I guess it doesn't matter.
