Quick question. My fuel sender was bad (gauge was not reading anything), therefore, I replaced it. Obviously I replaced it with the wrong one because when the tank is almost empty, the gauge is reading approx 1/2 tank < DOH! >.

I believe that the tank is a 23 or 26 gallon and wondering if anyone happens to know a part # for the fuel sender? I'm asking because the local boat parts dealer doesn't have anything quite as small as the sender that I'm looking for (the arm that goes into the tank is far too long).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Tks.

Re: Fuel sender

Can you put a 90 degree bend in the sender, so it will fit the tank?

Re: Fuel sender

roscoe,
I probably could, however, that might be risky since this part is pretty flimpsy to begin with. Thanks for the info though.

Re: Fuel sender

Buy a teleflex, instruction in box tells how to cut and fit sender.
