Fuel/RMP problems remedy

I read several issues on this board and I to have had and will keep on having them as long as I own this Yamaha. Mines 20+ yyears old. Hence my name...lol<br /><br />This will only work if you have the auto choke.<br /><br />1. Make sure you have new hoses and fittings and that the ni--er tittie will hold tight. If it won't point it to the sky and pump. If it won't start at 1 again.<br /><br />2. Get in an area where you can get plenty of speed. if it balks keep going...push it.<br /><br />3. Now HIT the auto choke and hold it until the boat is dam near flooded out. Now hold on....your boat will increase speed to where it was before the choke deal.<br /><br />4.Feels wild...lol. Now do it again.<br /><br /><br />5.And again....ya get bolder this time.<br /><br />Now see how it runs.<br /> <br />I used to pull my carbs, yea all 3 about every 2 years...not any more.<br /><br />Hope it helps.
