As far I as I can tell it is bad, have to keep pumping bulb to keep running when it was to stall out at idle, no air leaks tested on external tank same issue. Just wanted to skip the vro and use a normal pump if possible just can't figure out which one.
You should have the 60 degree engine and its better to go ahead and buy replacement VRO. If you want a aftermarket kit (pain in butt) to install and modify fuel bracket google 8402-60 fuel pump.
Material on motor piston was soft and came loose from piston .Put new kit in ,everything worked good . Good thing I took pictures when I removed it from motor ,lots of hoses .Thanks again for all the help .
