Fuel Pump Relay

I'm trying to understand the mechanics of this relay(and I think I do). My question is " Is there any way to get the pumps running with a bad relay. I guess what I'm asking, is there a way to jump the relay harness(?) to get the pumps running without the relay.... Thanks

Sure, just make a jumper wire and jump from 30 to 87 on the socket.

Don't have a clue, but it will make the fuel pump run .................. if the pump works.
