Fuel pump question

Was disassembling fuel pump on my 6HP Evinrude and didn't see until to late small spring with nylon end fell out does anybody know exactly where that goes ? Have not been able to find any diagrams showing how parts are assembled, any help would be appreciated.

When reassembling....after read instructions 3 times ... I suggest a dab of crazy glue on the base on the spring and a dab on top of the spring to hold down the plastic mushroom to keep everything from flying while you position the diaphragm

...read and understand the instructions firsy.... VERY IMPORTANT !!!
