I am inquiring for a friend, he needs a fuel pump piece.
serial # of motor is 5221199
tag on it says 1979 Thunderbolt Mercury 90 HP
what we need is the cap that fits over the inlet screen w/ a 1/4"OD barbed nipple molded into it for 1/4" ID inlet fuel line. (it's on forward (facing bow) top of fuel pump and held on by 1 Phillips machine screw)....
We would take entire fuel pump if that's only way to go.
Currently being told 6 weeks to get this part. Anyone got a used one around they want to sell?
