I am converting my 4.3 v6 4bbl to an electric fuel pump and there is a clear line that runs from the old fuel pump to the carb. Does anyone know what this is? Can I just plug it?

Re: Fuel Pump Line

That's there in case the Mechanical Pump has it's diaphram Leak,....
It directs the Dumped Fuel into the Carb......

With the Electric Pump,.... You Don't need it...... Pull it Off,+ discard it......

You Are running the Power for that new pump Thru an Oil Pressure Switch,.... Right,..??....

Re: Fuel Pump Line

I agree with Bond-o. Just throw the line away and plug where it goes into the carb.

Have a great day,

Rob.

Re: Fuel Pump Line

I just replaced mine three days ago due to split line. My parts dealer told me the exact same thing as what Bond-o said.
