That little pump can be a real Chinese puzzle, but a new one comes already put together, you just bolt it on. If you gave me the pieces right now, I cound,nt put it together either

Re: fuel pump Help

You can rebuild the older square pump with kit #18-7823 available here at iboats:

http://www.iboats.com/Sierra_18_782...18-7823--**********.354181446--view_id.174144

The rebuild instructions posted by LeeRoy Wisner make the rebuild much easier:
http://www.sschapterpsa.com/ramblings/Rebuilding_fuelpump.htm

If you want to make it real easy, get fuel pump number 18-7350 and just bolt it on and hook up the two hoses: http://www.iboats.com/Sierra_18_735...18-7350--**********.354181446--view_id.174139
