I have been working for the past few months trying to get this engine running. I ordered an oem manual and set about rebuilding the carbs with new
floats and needle valves and seats, blew everything out with compressed air, all passages are clear. decided while I was at it to replace fuel pump screen and gasket. Now I cannot get the pump cap to seal.It spews fuel out when I squeeze primer bulb. Didnt think something that looked so simple would be keeping me from turning the key, but any ideas short of replacing the cap assy?
