Fuel problems I think?

I have a 2000 150hp Johnson.The boat would run for about 30 sec to a minute and cut off.If I pump the bulb it would keep running fine.I have changed the fuel line fitting,the bulb, cleaned and checked the carbs.I bought the peice with the diapram in it.I'm not sure how to connect all the hoses.Someone else took some off when I wasn't paying attention.There are 2 black hoses with yellow stripes I need to know where they go.Also I see a black hose running from the pastic tube going to the carbs that is connected in the bottom of the motor.The one on the right(facing from in the boat)is not connected at the bottom.If someone can just tell me how to hook them all up that would be great.

Seem like what you are referring to is the fuel pump. And I think that is your problem as well from reading your comment. So you have the carb hoses and such hanging loose and don't know where they go now. Maybe post a few pictures and we can help you out. I have zero idea what you're dealing with concerning the hoses between the fuel pump and carb. Maybe somebody else can post their engine with everything connected to help you out. If not, post your pictures and I'm sure we can help you out... If your fuel pump has more then two fittings, then I don't have an idea with that type setup. If your fuel pump has only two fittings, then one is for the fuel line from your tank and the other is from the fuel pump to the carb...

Here is 1 of the VRO system.Im resizing the pics so I about to post more.Yea it is the fuel pump I was talking about.I had a few mechanics tell me the bottom one was the main fuel pump.The top fuel pump has 3 nipples on it.2 smaller and 1 bigger.There is a sheilded hose that goes to a larger nipple in the block.The big nipple goes to that hose.There is a small nipple coming down on the left side and a small nipple coming up on the bottom right.I thought the black hoses with yellow stripes went to these small ones and then to the small fuel pump.The top black n yellow hose has a t in it and the hose runs into the breather cover.This hose was pulsing air back n forth when I hooked them up.
