i have a 4.5 suziki out board which only runs when the choke is out i had fuel leaking problem a while ago thought ied fixed it there r two lines to the carby can anyone tell me which one does what so i can try to fix the prolem

The3 problem is your carb needs cleaning. i had the same problem on a yamaha 150 it ran on chole but died when i took the choke off. your idle jett is clogged and will not allow thw the motor to pull gas from it.

Agreed - Carbs have some grit in them, clean your fuel filter and you might discover some grit this is a tell tail sign....
