Fuel Problem

Hi I live in Malta and as Malta is heading towards the EU we are changing the type of fuel from leaded to unleaded.<br /><br />I have an outboard motor "Yamaha 85 HP 1993" and I need to know wheter the new unleaded petrol will work with my motor or if it will damage it and wheter it will effect the power of the motor.<br /><br />Thanks in advance<br /><br />James

Sure. You'll be fine. You don't really need the lead in a 2-stroke anyway.

randa007,<br /><br />Bear is correct. Lead is not needed in a 2-cycle engine. The important thing to try and match is the octane.
