fuel problem on Yamaha 30hp

after 9 months storage,my Yamaha 30hp 3cylinder<br />would not exceed approx 2500RPM.It started fine,and idled well but felt like it had fuel starvation.I removed and cleaned the residue from the carbies and the motor now runs to about 4000RPM but it feels that its only giving about 65% of full power.I suspect fuel residue in the carby galleries preventing full fuel flow but the carbies looked ok.Has anyone had a similar problem?

One of my best buddies does hundred of marine carbs a year. He sometimes has to take them off more that once. And speaking on Allens behalf, I know he is through and clean. Sometimes he miss's the smallest piece of trash. Before you do it again. Do what the old manuals say and try a little Sea Foam. Worth a Try.
