Engine seems like it is running on two cylinder at idle when 1st started. Squeeze the fuel primer and engine starts and runs great. It may act up again but once I pump it up it runs good and runs good all the time up to full throttle . Primer seems to be half empty when this happens. Can someone please advise?

Could have a bad connection on the fuel line or might be time for carbs to be rebuilt. Get a good manual and rebuild them yourself. you will save three times the cost of the manual in labor doing it yourself. Besides, it's fun.

I am changing fuel lines because where it connects to the bottom of the engine cover seems loose. The carbs were (as I was told by prev. owner) were just rebuilt a year ago. Any other things I could check.
