Fuel Line Size

Repowering my boat with a 99 250 EFI. What is the correct fuel line size 5/16 or 3/8's<br /><br />Thanks

We never have used less than 3/8" on any V6.<br />I find it VERY hard to believe they run 5/16" on a 250HP outboard.

My bad.....the manual DOES say 5/16"....<br />No wonder my Rude will leave a black stump like it's dead....

That's what manual says. Page 3A5 under fuel pump. 3/8" would be my choice also.

North40<br /><br />Thanks for the link to the manual. <br /><br />Funny the old Johnny ran 3/8 to the connector then 5/16 inside the cowl. The Merc does not have anything underneath the cowl as shown in the manual.
