'53 superfastwin = dual-hose fuel system, but if you've read my other threads, you know I'm converting over to a fuel pump system.
With the original layout, it was two, very-short hoses from the inlet connection block to the carb & manifold.
But with the pump mounted high on the starbord side of the back of the engine, that's a long hose from block to pump and another long run of hose back from the pump to the carb.
No big deal, really....except my engineering mind is thinking "wouldn't stainless fuel lines be oh-so-much sexier?
has anyone ever done this?
It will take a little engineering here & there, but I have the tools, the bending capabilities, the machining capabilities & the time......so "why not?", right?
Has anyone used metal lines for a more-elegant solution?
Or am I WAY over-thinking this?
