Do any other makes of fuel hose connectors fit the johnson inlet on the motor? I know Yamaha and Mercury/Mariner don't but not sure about the others.

Johnson, Evinrude, Gale, Sea King.

Merc fittings came about because Yamaha copied (except for size) the Johnnyrude connector, so Merc copied Yamaha since a lot of Mariners were made by Yamaha. For that matter, so are a lot of Merc 4-strokes.

Re: Fuel line compatibility

Was thinking more along the lines of Honda, Suzuki, Tohatsu etc. I think alot of Tohatsu's are also disguised under different cowls too. Looking at 2nd hand tanks on ebay etc and it got me wondering 'cos at the moment i'm using the miniscule internal tank and a jerry can. They should all have copied each other, it would have made life a bit less difficult. I suppose I could just buy the Johnson end bit and put it on whatever hose I like.
Thanks for your help.
