Fuel Level Sender

I think I saw a post a while ago on this, but cannot find it. Is there a way to test a sender unit on a 1997 Seadoo GTX to tell if it's the sender/pickup tube or the gauge that is bad on a ski that has no reading.?

Found the post.. Jump the two wires and see if the gauge goes to full.
