Re: fuel hoses
Fuel hose dia is hardly your worry. If the original was 6 mm that'll do. Larger diameter isn't a problem.

You have to check that your tank vent (tank cap) is working. If it's clogged your tank will be under increasing vacuum the longer you run - and when this exceeds the capacity of the fuel pump no fuel will reach the engine. Can be checked by taking the cap of after running a while. Notice if the tank sucks a lot of air in. If your motor works with the cap off, you've found the problem.

Same thing if the hose has a leak: The pump sucks it's best on the hose, but if air gets into the hose between tank and motor, fuel will be insufficient and after a while your fuel system runs dry.

Look it all over and replace all hoses that looks suspecious. When you remove the prime bulb from the hose look carefully for minor cracks on the hose inside.

Remember to replace with certified FUEL hoses and fittings.
