I have a 2000 Yamaha 150 Saltwater Series outboard. The fuel gauge can show full (7 bars) when it isn't ... after fishing for a couple of days this past week & the gauge showed full I added 30 gals of gas. Other times it seems to indicate properly. My kids occasionally use the boat, so I can't always rely on my experience of when fuel is needed. Last year was the 1st time the problem appeared & then only intermittent (I learned about this when I ran out of gas)<br /><br />I would appreciate advise ... don't know whether the problem is the multipfunction speedometer (about $360) or if there's a sending/sensing unit in the fuel tank or what type.<br /><br />Thanks
