Fuel Gauge 83 Bayliner Capri Volvo Penta AQ125A/270

New boat to me as a gift. Fuel gauge is not showing at all. Checked fuse and everything else I could around the tank. Any suggestions?

The gauge has three wires going to it, one is 12v +, one is 12v+ with the nav lights on and the third is the signal wire.

Ground the signal wire and the gauge should peg full.

Three posts above yours is also fuel gauge related. The wiring diagram is provided in that post and about 60 of the other 100 posts on this topic. Yup -- there is a SEARCH feature and it even uses the fuel gauge as an example.
