Fuel Gage Problem 2004 1600 ProSport

Help. I have a 2004 Yamaha F60TLRC installed on my Lund boat. I just bought this boat and motor. The Multi-Function Speedometer (6Y5-83570-S5-00) fuel gage shows less than 1/4 full fuel tank and flashes constantly. The fuel tank is full.

The neither the owners' manual for the Yamaha outboard or Lund boat (2004 1600 ProSport) are of any help.

Also does anyone know where and how to access the fuel tank if I need to inspect the wiring or sender?

Any information would be most helpful.

May I make a suggestion? We don't get much Lund traffic here and outside of myself and a couple of others, there aren't many regular posters here on the Lund boards. The most info available on Lunds on the internet (including dealer posters) is the Walleye Central boards:
