Fuel Filter ?

I haven't pulled the filter on the fuel pump yet and may could answer my own question if I did, but what is the difference between #2 & #7 in this pic? Same #, same price...why two occurrences?

Have a look at the description for #2, it shows'--' at the front. That means it's part of (or included in) the part listed above it.

That's good to know for future reference. So if I buy a fuel pump the filter is included. If I want to buy a filter do I order #2 or #7?

I believe #7 is the older style ceramic element that was superceded by newer style paper element #2. My 1990 3.0 had the ceramic element originally and replaced with a paper element no issue.
