I think i found a fuel filter on my yamaha but not sure if it is one that has to be replaced or taken out and cleaned. I cannot find a video on this motor so can someone please let me know before I try to take it out. Also is there a filter inside of the 20gal fuel tank that needs maintained? Is there any type of oil filter on this motor, it is the auto mix oil? Any pics or video links would be much appreciated, thanks

Unscrew the clear plastic bowl, remove and clean the mesh screen filter, replace....a dab of grease on those threads can make it easier to unscrew next time...

Is there enough room to lower it and take it out without having to unhook lines and removing the whole thing? Looks like it's pretty small area below it.

It looks pretty close in there....there may be a nut to remove that holds it in place...then you may be able to get at it without removing fuel lines, but some needle nosed pliers can usually remove those fuel lines, if required. You may have to dig around in there to get at that filter, but after you do it once or twice it won't be so challenging

Thanks for all the help, project done, had to take off the nut and unhook the lines but it's done.
