fuel filter on 2002 dfi optimax

I have a 2002 saltwater dfi optimax with very low hours. It started running sluggish when you take off. especially when pulling a wakeboarder or skiing. I put a new set of plugs, but still seems to bog down before it actually takes off. I just found the fuel filter yesterday and put a new one on .It has the spin on type. I will try this and see if this works. My question is there any other fuel filters on the engine , or anything else i can look for that may help?
