I moved my gas tank and relocated a battery in order to balance the weight out better on my boat and use some dead space and ran into a problem. The tank filler neck is now about 6 inches to the left of where the gas cap neck is. Anyone have an idea of how to connect this? It?s 1.5 inch filler hose. I wonder if 2 nylon barbed elbows might do it but I am open to other suggestions. Picture attached

Oh I have no problem buying another hose but those hoses aren't flexible enough I don't believe . I bought one with a 45 degree s curve in it but it still doesn't fit with out having a kink in it.

I have to agree^^ rigging it expecially with nylon or plastic fittings is asking for trouble.
If you can't get a hose to fit,it would be best to remove the tank and have a pro weld a proper elbow on it.
If you get the proper hose with the wire reinforcement it would be very difficult to kink.

Ok i found a flexible enough hose. Wasn't too spendy either. It was a tight fit but it worked. I learned a lot about bend radius as well. this particular hose had a bend radius of 4.5 inches. some fill hoses had a bend radius of over 18 inches!!!!! one other hose i found had a smaller bend radius (3.5 inches) but it was much more expensive.

At under $30 shipped i thought i did well. plus i have over 2 feet left. might just put it up of craigslist and get some money back.
