Just wondering what peoples "sweet Spot" is for fuel economy. I have a 1989 force 85hp on a 17 foot quantum bass boat. I'm finally over the new boat "I need to go WOT all the time" phase and was curious what would be the average RPM/MPH I should run at to best conserve gas but not go like 2 MPH. 
My trim and tilt is inop at the moment so the motor is pretty much straight up and down. Any ideas what range I should run??
