Does anybody have an educated guess on the fuel range of a 200hp carbed Merc year 2000. I have a 120 gallon tank, assuming average seas...3-4 feet, and assuming running at optimum rpms... I have NO idea. I am trying to figure out how far out i can go safely. I am considering an extra 20 gallon tank mounted under my center console for gulf stream trips. I know there are TONS of variables but i dont know if it is closer to 1 mile per gallon or 2 or 3. If it is one i will be cutting it real close on a 140 mile trip.
