fuel delivery problem

My '68 Chrysler 9.9 outboard runs great and then after a bit speeds up then stalls out. If I pump the fuel bulb, it will keep running. I have new fuel tank and lines, new quick connect, rebuilt the carb and fuel pump. I think there is an air leak, how do I find it?

Is the bent cap open on the fuel tank? Very commonly missed.

Yes, this has been a several day project. I have made headway but I stll lose prime and have to pump the bulb?
