Fuel conversion on 1955 Johnson Seahorse 10hp

I am trying to find out how to convert a 1955 10hp Johnson seahorse to a modern fuel system. I was told that I need to get an external fuel pump. Does anyone know what it is exactly that I need. Also any tips on how to do it would be much appreciated.<br /><br />Thank you all very much,<br /><br />jroberts
