Fuel consumption

Hey guys. I am just about to have my project boat water ready. Im just curious as to what kind of gas mileage I am looking at. I have a 1978, 25' Wellcraft offshore cuddy with twin 165 hp. mercruisers. Twin 250 straight six cylinder chevys. Ive been told it will be a gas hog.

I guess your boat will use 4-5 gph idling around (under 1500 rpm), 12-14 gph on plane and around 28-30 gph @ WOT.

Sabine stalker<br />Only a guess but I would expect you to get around 2 miles per gallon at crusing speed (25-30mph).
