fuel connector

Help please i bought a 1993 9.9 mercury outboard and my fuel connector will not fit, the motor has a different prong than i have seen before it looks standard but one of the prongs is square. are there different styles or is it just a larger size issue thanks. my boat motor is fine just need odd connector and i have no idea where to get it or what it is even called

not sure but I would think if it doesn,t fit it is the wrong one go to a site look up the part number for your engine and purchase it

Yes, there are different sizes for different makes. Some look very similar. Buy the correct one and hold onto your old one for the next project.
