Welcome to iBoats . . .

You should be able to find the certification label on the fuel tank, which will give the capacity (gallons).

Look for a deck plate in the cockpit floor or in a ski locker under the cockpit floor. It should give access to the top of the tank where the sender and certification label is located.

Expect it to be about 35 Gal. That was pretty typical for boats of that size, in that year. It could be a bit less as well.

It makes sense to look at the condition of the fuel tank as well. It is likely aluminum, and if you boat in salt water, it could be near end of life.

If you cannot find a tag telling you the capacity, and really need to know...find the tank and measure it in inches. Take length X Width X depth and then divide by by 231 (the number of cubic inches in a gallon.) That should tell you the capacity.

Why is that?
Plenty on the site about that if you search for it. If I could get it for the same price as a 3.0L I would, and would have to get a $1-2k discount over a similar 4.3. While the parts are harder to find and more expensive, you only need half as many as a vee engine. You for sure need to be comfortable turning a wrench--nobody will work on them.
